Superintendent's Message

Date of Return:

  • We are very happy to report that we are on target to hold in-person learning for all K-5 students Monday through Friday starting Monday, April 5th.
  • Unfortunately, we must delay the full return for middle school and high school until Monday, April 26th. While we had hoped that the earlier date was attainable, for many reasons, the 26th us a better date for this last pivot.

Superintendent's Entry Survey Superintendent Survey

Dear Bourne Families,

In a ‘normal’ first year of being a new Superintendent surveys and listening/learning sessions occur.  Although this year has been anything but 'normal', I hope that you will still consider filling out the survey below that will provide input about what you value about Bourne Public Schools and what we can work together to change. Please note that this survey is open to students, staff and community members and I thank you in advance for forwarding it to interested individuals.

Free Food for Children 18 and younger! Free Meals

The Marion Institute has the opportunity to partner with the Shah Foundation and Southcoast YMCA to bring prepared meals to students in our communities. Students in the Tri-Town area, Wareham, and Bourne are all able to participate in this program. On Tuesdays and Fridays, parents can either go to the East Wareham Elementary School between 10-12, or Gleason YMCA between 3:30-5:30, to pick up multiple days worth of breakfasts and lunches. These are deliciously prepared meals that will only need to be warmed. On Tuesdays they get a package that includes 3 days of meals and Friday’s package includes 4 days worth of meals.
