Leave/Vacation Requests
All leave/vacation requests will be recorded in Red Rover.
Personal Leave
Restricted - Teachers: In accordance with the CBA teachers can apply for a single personal day for imperative personal legal business, imperative household matters or imperative family matters. Teachers have restricted use of said day and cannot extend a holiday weekend or vacation. Use of said day is limited to once per school year. This request must be approved by the building Principal and Superintendent.
Unrestricted - Teachers: In accordance with the CBA teachers can apply and utilize twice in a school year for imperative personal legal business, imperative household matters or imperative family matters. Teachers have unrestricted use of said day twice per school year. This request must be approved by the building Principal.
All Staff: Utilize the Personal Leave with detailed explanation of imperative legal business, imperative household matters, and/or imperative family matters. Again, detail is required in confidence with the Superintendent.
Administrative Assistants: Utilize this Personal Leave for two days of personal leave twice in a school year. You must check a box indicating imperative legal business, imperative household matters, and/or imperative family matters. No detail required.
Personal leave shall not be granted for extending vacations or holiday weekends.

Request for Compensatory Day of Absence Educational Support Personnel: For all ESPs who attended the orientation day before the students' first day of school. Requires Principal approval prior to the Superintendent's approval.
Request for Compensatory Day of Absence Administrative Assistant: For all administrative assistants who attended the orientation day before the students' first day of school. Requires Principal approval prior to the Superintendent's approval.
Request for Additional Bereavement Day of Absence: For use to attend Bereavement observances for individuals not mentioned in the Collective Bargaining Agreement Bereavement Leave section. Requires detail information, i.e. individual's name, relationship, etc.
